The short answer
Yes, WallStyle Installers serves Miami-Dade County from Hialeah and Doral down to Homestead and Florida City. We handle installation, removal and wall prep for houses, townhomes and condos across the county.
Miami-Dade is our home county, and the area we cover reaches from Hialeah and Miami Springs in the north down through Kendall and Cutler Bay to Homestead and Florida City in the south. Most of it sits within a short drive of our Miami base, about five miles from the county's center, so scheduling a measure visit or a multi-day job is rarely complicated. We hang residential wallpaper, murals, grasscloth and commercial-grade vinyl in single-family houses, townhomes and condo units throughout these neighborhoods.
Neighborhoods and cities on our regular route
We split the county roughly into three zones so we can plan our days around traffic on the Palmetto, the Turnpike and US-1.
- North and west: Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Miami Springs, Medley, Doral, Sweetwater, Fountainebleau, Brownsville, Gladeview
- Central: Coral Gables, South Miami, West Miami, Westchester, Coral Terrace, Glenvar Heights, Olympia Heights, Westwood Lakes, Tamiami, Sunset
- South: Kendall, Kendall West, Kendale Lakes, The Hammocks, Three Lakes, The Crossings, Country Walk, Richmond West, Richmond Heights, Palmetto Estates, West Perrine, South Miami Heights, Cutler Bay, Goulds, Princeton, Naranja, Leisure City, Homestead Base, Homestead, Florida City
What the housing stock means for wallpaper
Much of the county was built as concrete-block homes, many of them single-story ranch houses from past decades in places like Westchester, Olympia Heights and Palmetto Estates. Exterior walls in these homes are usually block finished with plaster on the inside, which can be uneven and sometimes holds moisture after heavy summer rain. We check those walls carefully and skim coat where needed so the paper lies flat.
Newer developments in Doral, Kendall West and around Homestead tend to have drywall throughout, often with light texture that has to be smoothed before a patterned paper goes up. Condo units add their own logistics: elevator reservations, building work hours and protecting shared hallways.
Working with South Florida weather
May through October brings heat, humidity and near-daily afternoon storms, while the drier months from November into April are the easiest time for big projects. Paste cures more predictably when the air conditioning is running steadily, so we ask clients to keep it on during and after installation. Hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, can shift schedules when a storm approaches, and we will rebook rather than hang paper in a house that is closed up without power.
